All third-party processors handle your data under written agreements meeting NDPA 2023 standards. We never sell your data.
📍Location Data
We collect your pickup and delivery addresses when you place an order. We do not track your real-time location as a customer.
When you are on an active delivery, we collect your real-time GPS location. This is shared with the customer and store for coordination. It is not collected when you are offline. Location history for completed deliveries is retained for 90 days then automatically deleted.
💳Payment Data
Smart Laundry Connect does not store your card details. All card processing is handled by Paystack (PCI-DSS Level 1 certified). We receive only payment confirmation and a reference number.
Bank account details (name, number, bank) provided by stores and riders are transmitted to Paystack over encrypted connections for payout purposes. Transaction records are retained for 6 years as required by Nigerian financial regulations.

When you delete your account, personal data is deleted within 30 days, except data we are legally required to retain.

- Encryption at rest: Sensitive data including passwords and ID documents is encrypted in our database
- Password hashing: Passwords are hashed with bcrypt — never stored in plain text

🔄Policy Changes
When we make material changes to this policy we will update the effective date, send an in-app notification, and email registered users for significant changes. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
